Cruise Center Steinwerder as a platform for culture - Successful open-air season comes to an end

After 16 weeks, 83 events and 33,000 visitors, the Cruise Inn Open Air at the Cruise Center Steinwerder has come to an end. Last Wednesday the last part of the programme took place with the third sold-out show by Felix Lobrecht under perfect weather and in front of the most beautiful scenery of Hamburg´s port. Despite of Corona, a total of 33,000 visitors have been able to experience culture, concerts, shows and cinema at the Cruise Center Steinwerder in recent months thanks to the project.

Simone Maraschi, Managing Director Cruise Gate Hamburg: "It is a great feeling that we have been able to provide a stage for culture in these past four months at our car park at the Cruise Center Steinwerder. At a time when art was not yet allowed to take place again in the city's usual cultural venues, people experienced concerts, films and festivals here together. First in their car, then even open air. And all this in a unique setting right in the port of Hamburg. It's great to have experienced that even under challenging circumstances something so unique and important has been initiated together with all those involved at short notice.

This video shows impressive moments.
