"Happy Birthday, Port of Hamburg!" - From 5 to 7 May 2023, Hamburg will once again celebrate the largest port festival in the world. Up to one million visitors are expected at this year's 834th Port Anniversary at the Port of Hamburg. They can look forward to many great ship-spotting moments - and to a varied programme on land. More than 250 expected ships will transform the port into a big stage, including eight cruise ships that Cruise Gate Hamburg (CGH) will welcome at its cruise terminals during this year's festive weekend.
In addition to the traditional arrival and departure parade, the highlights of the port festival include the tugboat ballet on Saturday afternoon and the fireworks display on Saturday evening at 10.30 pm. An overview of all programme items can be found here: Hamburg Port Anniversary - hamburg.com
